This is Kathleen Sanders, and I have 2 questions. I know I need to pay the other half of my dress and I will get that to you by this weekend. When will my dress and all my bridesmaids be in? Also I am needing to make an appointment for the groom and some groomsmen to come and get fitted for their tux. I was hoping I could get it schedule for the 21st at 12:00. It will be Nathan Emery, Joe Fushey, Bruce Sanders and Steve Emery. Please let me know. Thank you so much for all your help!!
I just wanted to say Thank You for helping me pick out the most prefect dress! You made me comfortable about myself and what I wanted in a wedding gown. I could not imagine working with anyone else during this special time in my life. You opened your doors to me and the rest of my crazy family and friends on several occasions. I will continue to let friends know where they can find the most beautiful dresses for all of their special occasions. Thank you Mrs. Jackie!!!
Sincerely Kathleen Sanders (Soon to be Emery)
I could not have asked for more from the first day I walked into Jacqueline's Bridal. I have never seen such a selection of beautiful wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses, wall to wall. Mrs. Jackie made me feel like a princess every time I came into the store. I look back at my pictures now and think what a perfect dress I had (the dancing around the store in every dress I tried on really helped me). It could not have been more perfect for me, or my figure (Mrs. Jackie helped me with that too!!). I have a very large family and a lot of friends who also visited Mrs. Jackie's, sometimes as a group, and the staff handled the situation perfect. I look forward to my next experience working with Mrs. Jackie, now I am just trying to find an excuse to buy another dress from her store!

I found Jacqueline's Bridal in the Nashville Wedding Guide. I had gone to several other bridal salons and had not gotten the service or selection I wanted. I went to Jacqueline's and from the minute I stepped in the door I felt special. She worked with me one on one and really listened to my ideas and wants for a wedding dress. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. She helped me to find the most beautiful wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. It was so easy. I would recommend Jacqueline's Bridal Salon to any bride. You will definitely get the best experience.
Nancy and Nick Callea Wedding
Our wedding was held on Sept 15th at Lillie Belle's of Franklin. My dress was Raylia Designs and was Ivory with Pewter accents and lace. The bridesmaid's wore Dessy Designs in Mocha. Nick and the groomsmen wore Tommy Hilfiger tuxes. Our florist, Always in Bloom, did the most amazing flowers. My bouquet and the bridesmaid's flowers were pink roses with hydrangeas. The men wore rose boutonnières. The tables were each decorated with silver vases and an array of hydrangeas, roses, and greenery. Our photographer, Ace Photography, was wonderful. Arlene and Myles captured every beautiful detail of the wedding. I was amazed. It was the most beautiful wedding anyone could have ever asked for and I felt like a princess. The dress was the best part about the day and if I could, I would wear it all the time. It was a dream come true. Jackie, Thanks so much for all your help.
Thanks,
Nancy Callea |

I first met Jackie at a Nashville,Tennessee bridal show. My first impression of her and her staff was that they were professional and knew how to get the job done (and boy was I right on the money).
I really needed someone like that to coordinate, and plan our wedding because I was attending law school in Indiana, and my then fiancé was in the Navy and stationed in Mayport, Florida and our wedding was taking place in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Oh, and did I mention that we had a bridal party of 14, all of which who live all over the country.
We truly needed someone that was organized and helpful and that is what we found at Jacqueline’s Bridal. Jackie was a natural selection for Brian and I because she was kind, patient and very creative. I can truly say that on the day of our wedding we did not have to worry or think about anything. We truly enjoyed the day and it was the happiest day of my life. All of my dreams came true on that day and I can honestly say that May 28, 2005 was a perfect day.
Jackie, thanks a million!
Stephanie and Brian
Note: We met with Stephanie three (3) times in total over a period of a year, met Brian only once, drove to Hopkinsville Kentucky once to went with the venue director, and everything else was taken care of by telephone. Stephanie had law exams two (2) weeks prior to her wedding, packed for a relocation, and met with movers the week before her wedding; and she arrived in Hopkinsville Kentucky for their wedding (the week of her wedding). Our staff was prepared, and had everything prepared for them, and ready to go for the weddiing. The wedding went off without a hitch. Stephanie and Brian was a very happy Bride and Groom. Congrats! |

The "Sloan" sisters: For Luke and I, the story of our relationship has always been far from ordinary. We met while studying abroad in France, with him from Ireland and me from the US, and struggled through 2 years of really long distance dating. When we finally found ourselves engaged a couple of years later, I was living in Ireland and quickly discovered that the logistics of planning a wedding from abroad could be even more complicated. Luckily, I had Jacqueline to help me through it, to make sure that my dress was ordered and ready for my fitting when I arrived back in Nashville just three months prior to the wedding. She made sure that the bridesmaids dresses were ready on time, and provided me with tips on a range of vendors that I had yet to secure, including a photographer and caterer. When the day of the wedding arrived, Jacqueline was on hand to oversee the occasion and to iron out any last minute glitches. The service she provided was above and beyond, and when it was time for the reception, Jacqueline was there, not as a coordinator, but as a close friend."
Brandon and Anna wanted to have their wedding before they started studying for the bar exam, the weekend after they graduated and before their bar preparation class started. Anna asked her sister Nancy to be her Maid of Honor. One complication for Anna was that Nancy was leaving in January to go to Ireland to be near Luke and was not returning until shortly before Anna's graduation. Anna was very concerned about Nancy not having time to get her dress properly altered. Anna first visited another bridal shop in Michigan and was very disappointed when they suggested that she mail Nancy's dress to her in Ireland to have it altered. While at home for the Christmas holiday, Anna's Mom suggested that they visit Jacqueline's Bridal Shop. While there they found a beautiful Eden's Maids dress that looked perfect on Nancy. Anna was so happy to hear that Jacqueline could accept the measurements for her out of town bridesmaids by telephone or email and then ship the dresses to the girls. And Anna was even more excited when Jacqueline offered to take Nancy's measurements before she left and have the alterations completed before Nancy returned from Ireland. On the day of the wedding, all three of the bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful in their thistle colored A-line dresses with champagne colored sashes. Overall, Jacqueline went above and beyond, and Anna and Brandon would like to thank her for all of her help. |

Hi Jacqueline, We were in your shop in August, my daughter tried on several gowns while we were there. We were actually vacationing in Tennessee at the time and are from Ontario, Canada. Anyway, she has looked at other gowns and nothing has measured up to the one she loved from your shop. It is a Maggie Sottero gown, I think the colour was described as "gold".
I just wanted to let you know that we will be calling tomorrow ( Monday) to order this dress. You already have her measurements and you said all we needed to do was call and give you our deposit and it could be ordered. We are planning to come back down to get it in the spring when it arrives. Thanks so much, and we will be speaking to you tomorrow. She is very excited.

We came upon Mrs. Young's services by attending a bridal show in August 2000. Mrs. Young had a booth there and we were interested in her bridal attire. After making an appointment with her, my best friend, Ann Phillips and I (Wanda) went to her shop. After Mrs. Young assisted us with selecting dresses for the bridal attendants, she also informed us with other services she could provide in planning a wedding. I later spoke with Donald about what Mrs. Young could do for us to plan our wedding and we both decided to meet with Mrs. Young. Donald was very impressed of what she had shown us, so we decided to hire Mrs. Young, not only to provide dresses for the bridesmaids and flowergirls, but also to be our wedding consultant/coordinator.
 |
Mrs. Young was working with another couple who was also interested in the same location, that she had recommeded to us for our wedding and reception. Mrs. Young was very professional in asking permission from Donald and I if it would be all right for that couple to see our wedding set-up at that location. We were happy for them to see it! Everyone at our wedding was so impressed with our location, that several people inquired at the wedding how did we come upon this facility. We had to give the entire credit to Mrs. Young.
Donald and I would highly recommend Mrs. Young to handle your wedding/reception. Mrs. Young is well knowledgeable, well informed and well connected to find what you want for your wedding from vendors, bridal attire to clergyman, etc. We have photographs and video coverage of our wedding to prove how beautiful our wedding was thanks to Mrs. Young. Mrs. Young and PBS Total Bridal is a class act business, and our wedding was a classic. We would gladly give our referral to anyone who need proof of Mrs. Young's services.
Sincerely,
Mr. & Mrs. Donald & Wanda Hines

Hi Jackie;
I wanted to write a personal note to let you know that P is for Personal,

In February of this year, my fiancee and I selected

care of everything we requested.
Our wedding was scheduled for June 24, 2000, but regretfully my fiancee Willie L. Rudd

and in a matter of hours, she contacted all the vendors and others involved to
make arrangements of cancellations and refunds.

Thanks for everything!
Everything was great! Jackie worked with all of the vendor as if she had known them forever. Jackie and her team was all over the place, making sure that nothing would go wrong from cabin to cabin checking on everyone. Her caring and perfection started before the wedding day, there were follow up call, and the wedding day itinerary that was completed before the day.

Shortly after I became engaged on June 30, 2007, I decided to have my wedding in my hometown, Huber Heights, Ohio. The search for my bridal gown started in Raleigh, NC when my mother, Sheliah Overton (from Huber Heights, Ohio) and my sister, Cheryl (from Nashville, TN) came to visit me in Raleigh, NC to go shopping for my wedding gown. I went to 6 different bridal salons and tried on over 50 gowns. I found one gown that was absolutely gorgeous on me and we all had 'the moment', however, I was not totally sure it was 'the one'. Therefore I continued to do just a little more looking around. On the internet, I discovered the Essence of Australia line of dresses. And it was there that I saw the dress that fitted my requirements of my dream dress: something soft and flowy that made me feel like a princess. The problem with this designer was that their dresses were not widely sold across the US. I called three of the four locations in NC and neither of those had the dress that I wanted in their store. Since the locations in NC did not have my dress, I thought that I would try the only location in Tennessee, Jacqueline's Bridal & Formal, which happened to be just a few minutes from where my sister lives. Although Jacqueline's Bridal is by appointment only, I thought I would just take a chance and walk in to see if they had the dress that I was interested in. I was in luck! Walking in the bridal salon at 5:45, not only did Jackie have an opening for 6:00 that evening, but she actually had the dress in her store. Jacqueline's Bridal & Formal also had the first dress that I thought was 'the one'. So I was able to try on both of my choices and make a decision in one location. While comparing the two dresses, Jackie offered great advice to help me make my decision. She stated to choose the dress that I feel the most comfortable and the dress that makes me feel like me. In the end, I choose the Essence of Australia dress.
Jackie was a pleasure to work with. She and her husband, Nelson, stayed open past their closing time to assist me with this out of town purchase. Jackie was very knowledgeable of the bridal industry. She did a wonderful job in educating me on the different styles of dresses, the designers, helping me choose my accessories, and how to select a veil that would accentuate my features and that were appropriate for my body structure and dress.
Sheliah Overton is the mother of Dr. Cheryl Overton and bride, Shelita Overton. Shelita Overton lives in Raleigh, NC and works as a Technical Writer at IBM. Dr. Cheryl Overton is a PhD pathology graduate of Vanderbilt University.
Thanks,
Shelita
